True silence is so rare -- often the sounds of daily lives clamor so loud and/or tinker in the background we don't realize it is there -- but it can be so peaceful once it is "heard" or noticed.
To have silence always in reach ... that must be wonderful. I can say that I have my own 'little spot of silence' in a city park in my neighborhood ... and that's so great to have it in reach ...
