Moonlight Blossoms
moonlight blossoms glow
silently in the nights tides
gardens sweetly shine
each bud sings forth tales
of lovers in the moonlight
bound forever more

We Had A Love
as I read your words
softly by the light of day
my heart leaps with joy
we had a great gift
and lived our lives for a time
our souls matching souls
now I set you free
hoping someday to meet again
our bodies as one

Love A Hope For All
in the end what's left
can love overcome all life
is the pain worth it
can love take death's place
and once more fill the cold void
we can but hope so
love and hope are one
my broken heart longs for this
once more to feel you
once more to see you
my eyes without these cold tears
my hand held in yours

Haven's Space
I wonder if here
lies the doorway to heaven
where I will find you
waiting for me as ever
our souls one again
is this our heaven
will the lord be there
and angles singing so sweet
I long to be there
in your arms once more
and your kisses wipe my tears
walking together
I Wish I Had Known
life has always been busy
with one thing or the other
caring for children
cleaning up the house
making supper for us all
stories and good nights
some how I forgot
what we had to begin with
a love that meant all
now I wish so much
I'd known if you loved me so
never let me go
His love so Great
broken hearts so real
dell in the old farmsteads
what once was now gone.
here once doweled a love
made of all the country side
lost forever more
his love for him great
now alone he faces life
endless empty pain

A Candle Burns
a candle burns still
deep within my broken heart
it's light will not fail
though gone I feel him
lighting my way in this world
a world without him
darkness surrounds me
I long for his candle strong
so bright my heart brakes
someday we will be
together once more in love
souls bound together

Midnight Train
each night I hear it pass
just behind my house
such a lonely sound
my soul reaches out
how many ride the train tonight
those lost to this life
longing to be there
aboard the midnight train
coming to your side
I'll hail the train tonight
and be in your arms so tight
as we go onto the end

Angels Dreams
gone all that once was ours
now for a time has become mine
gone the knowing and love
gone my hearts true beat
I live know in the after
and count empty days
pictures surround me
but give me no relief
from my constant pain
my love now waits in the darkness of each night
I long to lie beside him
in the quiet of the grave
Circles
circles come and turn
twisting what was once now not
like oaks run deep
my soul becomes my life
full of emptiness and pain

Morning Dew
morning dew unexpected
what was once solid
soon became all falling stone
red tears fell with each loud sound
crys unto heaven
those lost in smoke and such fear
Railway Tracks Of Life
railway tracks of life
moving far away from me
towards the tree of life
does the answer lie
beneath it's many branches
deep in shadows lost
life a mystery that
we search forever for
answers to it all

Quince Tree Branches
I remember well
the old quince tree in our yard
that bore fruit each fall
branches twisting round
the ivy that climbed within
to reach it's pink crown
noble quince ageless
a nesting place for fair birds
that woke us each morn
how I'd love to hear
it's whispers in the dark night
of time long gone by
the old quince tree in our yard
that bore fruit each fall
branches twisting round
the ivy that climbed within
to reach it's pink crown
noble quince ageless
a nesting place for fair birds
that woke us each morn
how I'd love to hear
it's whispers in the dark night
of time long gone by
Endless
her face speaks of time
years gone by both good and bad
some of sorrows lost
come and gone alike
endless wearing and tearing
tears dried as they fall
and now nothing gained
how many more breaths must she take
till death her lover
Woman In The Mask
behind the blue mask
eyes so deep and darkest black
skin white as new milk
be she of woodland Fae
whose beauty is known by all
queen of the faeries
seldom seen by men
in till the trap set too late
she coverts their hearts
listen hear her sing
weaving a spell to bind them
evermore her slaves.

Winter Shadows
last night I saw you
once more walking hand in hand
mere winter shadows
we crossed barren sand
you holding my hand so tight
praying dawn comes not
light takes you away
my eyes weep still in a dream
your touch lingers still
Alone, I Wait
love abandoned me
my heart torn rented apart
leaving my cold soul
pain and sorrow mine
will fill what life I have left
till you come for me
