Endless

her face speaks of time
years gone by both good and bad
some of sorrows lost

come and gone alike
endless wearing and tearing
tears dried as they fall

and now nothing gained
how many more breaths must she take
till death her lover

in autumn's forest
paths well tread by woodland elf's
unseen by mankind

leaves crunch with their steps   
soft foot prints led deep within
echos murmur low

night comes and they dance
beside an evening fire
gentle beings they

Hunters New Moon

summers first new moon
breathtakingly beautiful
hangs alone in sky

hunters of old knew
its hopefulness for the hunt
mornings light brought prey

warriors rode out
with the moons spirit in tack
feeding the children

Our Tapestry

together we wove
our lives in a tapestry
love laughter sorrow

meant to last always
our hearts linked each woven piece
only tears remain

forest sprite did roam
at oneness with all his kind
clothes of deepest shade

passing by unseen
in out of green mists he fades
blithely unafraid

elf child be he
born to ages long ago
woven magic myth

passing in a blur
down winding path lost in time
man dreams and forgets
