first blossom in spring
beauty beyond all seasons
lasts but a few days

beneath stormy seas
children of the deep cry out
wailing in sorrow

maids awaiting love
toss and tumble in the rough
where have they all gone

men who sail the tides
watch and long for them
 magical maidens

ocean waves greet moon
on this a perfect night sky
each specking whispers

each sun set woven
in the glistening moon dust
echoed in the sea

Hallowed Path

falls perfection seen
in hallowed tree lined walkway
leaves fall softly here

multicolored path
leads deep into the fall woods
elves dancing beneath

First Frost

with autumn's first frost
the chill of death roams freely
melancholy's child

renewal waits ahead
a rebirth and harvesting
change comes to them all

in life as in death
age and time will call us forth
we are once more one

it's  nectar pure and lovely
draws the butterfly
